A mechanical keyboard. First batch.
Try it before it exists.
This is the whole board, drawn in your browser. Type on your own keys or tap these. Pick a switch, turn the knob, listen. Nothing here is a photograph.

Switches
Three ways down.
KEY-01 ships with one of three switches, and the sockets are hot-swap, so the choice is not permanent. Hold the switch below to see what each one does on the way down.
Layout
Eighty-three keys and a knob.
A 75% layout keeps the function row and the arrow cluster and drops the number pad, so your mouse hand does not have to travel. The knob in the corner is volume on the page, and volume on the board.
- Hot-swap sockets Every key takes any MX-style switch. Change your mind without a soldering iron.
- Gasket mount The plate floats on soft strips instead of screws, so the whole board gives a little when you bottom out.
- The knob Turn it with the scroll wheel or drag it. Click it to mute. It has a detent for every step.
- USB-C, both ways Wired, with a cable that unplugs from the board. No batteries to wear out, nothing to pair.
- Thick PBT keycaps Keycaps that do not go shiny. Legends are in the plastic, not printed on it.
- Machined aluminium case One piece, cut from a block, in the same grey as the page you are reading.
