How Loam works

From bare soil to a full basket.

Loam plans a kitchen garden around your plot, your sun and your week. Four steps, one season, no spreadsheets.

  1. Step one · Map

Draw your plot to the centimetre.

Trace beds on a grid, drag the corners, and Loam reads your postcode for sun hours and the last frost date.

    • 6.2 × 4.0 mback garden, 6 beds
    • 7 h 40 maverage June sun
  2. Step two · Choose

    Pick what you’ll actually eat.

Tell Loam what lands on your table. It fills each bed with companions that like the same soil and spacing, and keeps the brassicas away from the beans.

    • 14crops suggested
    • 3companion pairs
  3. Step three · Tend

A calendar that knows your weather.

Sowing, thinning and feeding dates shift with the forecast. One short list every Saturday morning, nothing more.

    • 12 mina week, on average
    • Sat 08:00your weekly list
  4. Step four · Harvest

Weigh it, log it, plan next year.

Tap a bed to log a pick. By October you’ll know which bed earned its keep and Loam rotates the plan for spring.
